Looking or a Daffy Duck Ceramic Spoon Rest?

Hi : I check e-bay and I couldn't find any. However I check past bids and found that a seller lucklyjeanne was the last person to sell one you can contract thru her e-bay account it seems no one bidded on it. she might still have it. So check it out, I couldn't find anyone else that has it. However there is a Willy E Coyote spoon rest for sale. at www. charlesalfred.com I don't think they make them anymore, but keep checking ebay for it. It might pop up again.

Gift upon meeting his mom?
I'm dating a guy....we are not designated "boyfriend and girlfriend" but we are mutually exclusive, have been dating for 10 months and are in our mid-20's. His mom lives in another state than the 2 of us and she only sees her son once a year. She wants to meet me and is flying me up to visit her during his 1 visit this year. This is all happening next month. I want to bring her something, but with the new airport regulations and changes in air pressure I'm thinking that bringing some home made baked goods is out of the question! I've thought of bringing wine or some flowers but I would like to stray away from being so cliche. I'm pretty crafty in my spare time and was thinking of making her a necklace or painting her a nice serving spoon or something...something small but personalized, a little different, but still classy (oh yea, and not very pricey as I'm still in college). I was originally going to paint her a nice ceramic serving spoon since she enjoys entertaining and cooking. Unfortunately the local paint-a-pot location here does not have a serving spoon and only a spoon rest While I'm sure a nicely painted spoon rest would be fine, I am not as pleased with the idea. What I would LOVE to do is embroider some basic cloths for her the kitchen (since you can never have too many) but I do not have a machine on hand. I although thought of painting her a serving platter from the paint-a-pot but I'm afraid that would be just too big and too much...I don't know her yet and don't want to come with something small. So...I've been thinking about beading her a necklace (but this might be too personal) or doing some bead work on linins (although I'm thinking against this also)....as you can tell, I'm not too thrilled about these alternative ideas. Is there anything I should just BUY her? Or is there something else I can make that is small but still personal, affordable, nice and not cliche?

Ask your boyfriend if his mom collects any items, like dolphins, or candles, or unicorns. If she likes knick knacks, I would definately get her something not too pricey, but pretty and thoughtful. When you get to know her more personally, give her something you have made. She will love it, and it will be the start of a friendship.Plus when you are there, if she likes plants, get her an unusual one. Personally, I would love anything a friend of my son would give me, and beadwork is beautiful. Good Luck! You sound like a keeper...

What is this bread called? (recipe included)?
Dough: 3 cups bread flour 1 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast 1 cup finely grated asiago cheese 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes 1 tablespoon dried basil 1 3/4 cup water This recipe is very quick and easy. Prep all your ingredients ahead of time so, you will be ready to go. Using a large bowl, pour all the flour in. Add the instant yeast and the salt.. Add in the dried basil and the finely grated asiago cheese. Add in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes. You can use the ones packed in oil or you can hydrate the dried sun-dried tomatoes. If you are using the ones packed in oil be sure to drain and pat dry with a paper towel. Mix all those ingredients together with your hand. Add in the sightly warm water and mix with a wooden spoon till all combined. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 12 - 18 hours. After that time dust a parchment lined cooking sheet with flour. Set cookie sheet aside. Sprinkle a little flour on a flat surface. Pour out the dough carefully onto the flour. Dust the top and lightly pat the dough into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 20 minutes. Stretch the dough into a rectangle and the fold one side half way over. Do the same to the other side. Now, fold from the side of the dough (short side) the same way. Place dough seam side down onto the well floured parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap for 2 hours. A half an hour before you want to bake the bread place a 6- to 8-quart heavy covered pot (cast iron, enamel, Pyrex or ceramic) in a 500F oven to heat up. Remove the pot from the oven and carefully drop the dough into the pot seam side up this time. Place the hot lid onto the pot and place back into the oven. Bake for 30 minutes, if the bread is golden brown it is ready. If the dough is still white you can remove the lid and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes. Carefully remove from the pot and cool on a wire rack till completely cool

It's called "No Knead Bread with Sun-Dried Tomato and Asiago Cheese" See the site I listed below!

I was orig. going to paint her a nice ceramic serving spoon since she enjoys entertaining and cooking. Unfortunately the local paint-a-pot location here does not have a serving spoon and only a spoon rest (if you dont know what that is, I found an image of one online: http://www.cooking.com/images/bridal/couples/spoonrest.jpg) While I'm sure a nicely painted spoon would be fine, I am not too pleased with that alternative. What I would LOVE to do is embroider some basic linins for her the kitchen, but I do not have a machine on hand. I although thought of painting her a serving platter from the paint-a-pot but I'm afraid that would be just too big and too much...I don't know her yet and don't want to come with a big gift, just something small. So...I've been thinking about beading her a necklace (but this might be too personal) or doing some bead work on linins (although I'm thinking against this also)....as you can tell, I'm not too thrilled about these alternative ideas. Is there anything I should just BUY her? Or is there something else I can make that is small but still personal, nice and not cliche? **FYI-- yes, I'm essentially trying to give a martha-stewart type gift, haha....

you have a specifically 'non-relationship' therefore something overly personal to her is way overboard. A simple bread and butter gift is in order. If she cooks an extraordinary little bottle of balsamic vinegar (real...not the wine-vinegar stuff) or very fine olive oil. If she reads a fine bookmark. You may wish to ask your....whatever, male escort, if she has any interests. But jewelry and bed clothes are not appropriate for a visit from a simple "friend of our son"
